2009 North West Aerobatic Champs -- Scott Crescent
The planning for the North West Championships started early January with work parties and flight line planning. However when the final week approached and the heaven’s were unleashing the most rain we have ever had to date in one month, the phone calls and sms’s started (the farmers are complaining that the barbers were eating the mielie’s) was one that I can recall, but as true pattern fliers, Nico and myself were putting up flight poles on Thursday with our “gum boots” wading through water, mud and rain...
